Talent Acquisition and Onboarding

The Talent Acquisition and Onboarding section implements recruitment strategies, administers evaluations/examinations, establishes eligible lists, and contracts for temporary services. It is also responsible for onboarding new hires through pre-employment testing and Orientation.

The Talent Acquisition and Onboarding section is responsible for administering a multifaceted program that carries out various staffing functions for all departments and agencies within the City of St. Louis merit system.  

This includes:

  • implementing recruitment strategies
  • developing and administering examination procedures
  • establishing eligible lists;
