A Neighborhood Plan for the Skinker DeBaliviere neighborhood and very small portions of the adjacent West End and DeBaliviere Place neighborhoods

Publication Date: 09/18/2018
Document Type: Plans and Reports
Sponsor: Planning & Urban Design Agency

Summary
The plan was adopted as a Neighborhood Plan and a supplement to the City’s Comprehensive Plan by the Planning Commission on September 5, 2018. (A Presentation and Public Hearing was held on August 2, 2017. The Planning Commission adopted the plan as a Neighborhood Plan on September 6, 2017. A technical clarification -- that the plan was also adopted as a supplement to the City’s Comprehensive Plan -- was approved by the Planning Commission on September 5, 2018.)

The planning area includes the Skinker DeBaliviere neighborhood and very small portions of the adjacent West End and DeBaliviere Place neighborhoods. It is generally bounded by Delmar Blvd. on the north, DeBaliviere Ave. on the east, Lindell Blvd. on the south, and the City Limits on the west.

The plan was initiated to position and envision how the neighborhood will continue to evolve over the long term and to identify the steps necessary to make that vision a reality. The plan was prepared by H3 Studio.
