Debris Collection Sites to Conclude Operations on Sunday, June 8
The free residential debris collection sites managed by the National Guard will conclude on Sunday, June 8th.
As the City of St. Louis’s two-week partnership with the Missouri National Guard comes to a close, the free residential debris collection sites managed by the Guard will conclude on Sunday, June 8th. Residents can drop off debris through 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the following locations:
- Marshall School - 4322 Aldine Ave
- Farragut Elementary - 4025 Sullivan Ave
- Turner Middle School - 2573 Billups Ave
“I want to thank Governor Mike Kehoe and the Missouri National Guard for stepping up and assisting the City of St. Louis with the enormous task of collecting the debris from the horrific tornado on May 16,” said Mayor Cara Spencer. “These guardsmen and women left their jobs and families to support ours, and we are grateful for their work.”
The National Guard will spend their remaining two days of service cleaning the debris sites located on St. Louis Public School property. The City of St. Louis thanks the St. Louis Public Schools for making these sites available to residents.
Residents with debris remaining on their property can place it along the curbline for City crews and contractors to pick up as work continues within the devastated area.
The City will update residents on additional debris collection and removal options as more information becomes available.
