Captain Carolyn G. Moore is a trailblazing leader serving as the head of Information Systems for the City of St. Louis Fire Department, where she drives innovation and technological excellence. In this role, she oversees all technology operations, including Fire and EMS Records Management and Computer-Aided Dispatch, ensuring rapid emergency response and optimal departmental performance.

Promoted to Fire Captain in 2007, she became the department’s second African-American female officer.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and a Master’s in Management and Leadership. Captain Moore is also a graduate of the prestigious Dr. Carl Holmes Executive Development Institute—one of the nation’s foremost organizations providing high-caliber professional training for the fire service leaders of tomorrow.

Beyond her professional achievements, Captain Moore is a dedicated mother, wife, mentor, and community volunteer deeply committed to the City of St. Louis and its residents.
