Fire Captain Jeffrey Glorioso

Captain Glorioso serves as the Chief Fire Investigator for the St. Louis Fire Department. In this capacity he supervises the Departments Fire Investigation Unit. In addition to managing origin-and-cause operations, Captain Glorioso is a member of the Fire Chief's Command Staff. He also serves as the quality control officer, reviewing and officially releasing all department incident and investigation reports.

Captain Glorioso joined the Fire Department in June of 2000, beginning his career as a Paramedic in the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services. Prior to transitioning to the Fire Suppression Bureau in August of 2005 where he has served as a Firefighter, Investigator and Fire Captain. Captain Glorioso was promoted to the rank of Fire Captain in November of 2020 and was assigned to A-shift leading Engine Company 33 in the city's Baden neighborhood where he served for five years prior to assuming his current position.

As a licensed Paramedic, Captain Glorioso also holds a Bachelors Degree in Fire Service administration and Fire Investigation from Columbia Southern University.
