The next Lifesaving Award recognized Firefighters George Anderson, Vince Monti, Mark Nagel, and Jim Eaton, who responded to a three-story brick building fire that was about 40% engulfed in flames. Through sheer determination and not inconsiderable risk to themselves, they were able to rescue by ladder victims trapped on the rear porch and 2nd floor roof. Due to the rapid growth of the fire, it is quite likely all those rescued would have been severely injured or perished had it not been for the timely intervention of these great individuals. Shown above are: Rebecca Davis, FF Jim Eaton, FF George Anderson and FF Vince Monti.
