Several members of the St. Louis Fire Dept. Honor Guard were part of the 15,000 people who packed Reliant Stadium in Houston on June 5, 2013, for a memorial service to honor fallen firefighters Robert Bebee, Robert Garner, Matthew Renaud and Anne Sullivan. Hundreds of people line Montezuma Street on July 7, 2013, in downtown Prescott, AZ as 19 hearses slowly roll by carrying the Granite Mountain Hotshot firefighters killed the previous week by an out-of-control blaze near Yarnell, AZ. A wind shift and other factors caused the fire to become erratic, proving too much for the elite squad.
