May Reay takes the oath of office from City Register Parrie May on Jan. 8, 2013. Mayor Francis G. Slay appointed Reay to a 4-year term on the Forest Park Advisory Board. She is a non-voting member. Reay is a real estate agent with Janet McAfree, Inc. and is married to Charles (Chip) Reay. She is also involved with the renovation of the 69th Street entrance to Central Park in New York City, which will be dedicated on June 2, 2013.

Joshua Kremer has joined the Department of Public Safety as a Program Specialist. A native of St. Louis, Joshua graduated from the University of Missouri -- Columbia before joining the staff of United States Senator Christopher S. "Kit" Bond. In 2007, Kremer transferred from the Senator's Columbia, Missouri office to his Washington, D.C. office where he remained until the Senator's retirement in 2010. Prior to returning to St. Louis, Kremer worked at the Pentagon in the Office of Legislative Liaison for the National Guard Bureau. Welcome aboard, Joshua!

New St. Louis Fire Dept. Fire Chief for Lambert-St. Louis International Airport Steve Simpson (l) presents a ceremonial axe to outgoing Airport Fire Chief Adam Long at the main fire house in St. Louis on Jan. 25, 2013. Long, 62, is a 34-year veteran of the St. Louis Fire Department and is leaving to become Fire Chief for the City of University City, MO.
