Kate Eckelkamp
Neighborhood Improvement Specialist for Penrose, Kingsway East and Kingsway West
Kate Eckelkamp (She/Her) joined the Neighborhood Stabilization Team in August of 2022. Kate began her career in public service as a teacher, where she had taught in both parochial and public schools for the past 14 years in the St. Louis area and spent a summer teaching in China. Kate graduated from Webster University with a Masters degree in Communication Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Photography and Business.
Previously, Kate served as President of the Botanical Heights Neighborhood Association and focused on fundraising and beautification, installing neighborhood signs and trash receptacles throughout the neighborhood. A long-time St. Louis resident, she has raised her family here and has deep ties to the community. She enjoys traveling, biking, photography, and spending time with her family and her rescued dog, Nando.
