Summary
The City of St. Louis Office of Violence Prevention, in partnership with the St. Louis Board of Aldermen is seeking proposals for crime prevention programs from qualified not-for-profit organizations serving at-risk 11- to 24-year-old youth. For the purposes of this RFP, programs that reduce crime among at-risk youth are defined as programs that, on either an individual or a group level, work to reduce the likelihood of youth involvement in criminal activity.

The City of St. Louis Board of Aldermen has approximately $900,00.00 annually available to appropriate for programs that reduce crime among at-risk youth. Award amounts of varying sizes will be considered, with potential annual awards of up to $100,000.

No contact with other City employees is permitted. Unauthorized contact regarding this RFP may result in disqualification or rejection of a proposal.

Questions must be submitted no later than 11:59pm on February 15, 2024. The Office of Violence Prevention will maintain a list of all firms or individuals requesting copies of the RFP and will ensure that copies of all questions and responses shall be made available in writing to each firm on such a list, when requested. All questions will be addressed in writing through addenda posted on the City of St. Louis website. In order for the proposals to be considered, respondent’s submission must be received by March 15, 2024 at 11:59 P.M. CST. Proposals received after this deadline will not be accepted.
