Mo Farrell is building on 14 years of experience elevating programs and campaigns that advance health, equity, and justice. She currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Office of Violence Prevention for the City of St. Louis.

Before moving to St. Louis, Ms. Farrell worked for the City of New York - most recently overseeing programs operated by multiple city agencies as Director, Crisis Response and Community Capacity for the Mayor's Office of Community Mental Health. Her work for the City of New York began at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) where she served as a Senior Analyst for the Social Services Task Force assessing the impact of homeless policy proposals and decisions involving major programmatic and structural reforms. Ms. Farrell also worked as a Policy Strategist at the Katal Center for Health, Equity, and Justice where she advanced criminal justice reform in New York.

Ms. Farrell had years of experience in direct services working primarily with immigrants and homeless individuals before receiving her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College - CUNY. Originally from the Midwest, she holds a B.S. in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
