Design Division

The BPS Design Division is responsible for management of the entire design process and preparation of bid documents for all construction projects for the City-owned buildings, bridges, streets, alleys, parks and other facilities.

Overview

BPS Design Division is responsible for:

  • Management of design and preparation of bid documents for construction projects in new and existing city structures and facilities such as bridges, streets, parks and buildings
  • Administration of consultant contracts for professional services to the Board of Public Service
  • Management of safety inspection program of city-owned bridges
  • Permit applications for public improvements within the city right-of-way
