Registered apprenticeships offer an excellent pathway to a rewarding career by combining paid, hands-on work experience with classroom instruction. Whether you're beginning your career or looking to learn a new trade, apprenticeship programs help you gain valuable skills while earning a paycheck. SLATE Missouri Job Center can connect you with apprenticeship resources and opportunities throughout the City of St. Louis and across Missouri.
Today, apprenticeships are expanding across both traditional and non-traditional career fields, including information technology, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, construction, hospitality, and transportation and logistics.
Registered apprenticeships are highly structured training programs that allow participants to:

Missouri Apprentice Connect
Missouri Apprentice Connect is a partnership between the Missouri Department of Higher Education, Workforce Development, and the Missouri Job Centers network that encourages and assists businesses in establishing apprenticeship programs. Additionally, Missouri Apprentice Connect educates individuals about pursuing careers through apprenticeship programs.
