We are off to a great start at SLDC. Project Connect has completed the Request for Proposals (RFP) for an Urban Planning and Design Consultant. This has been a resident-led initiative to locate the planning consultant that best fits the specific needs of the 6 neighborhoods that support the new National Geospatial Agency development in North Downtown, St. Louis. The work that has been done by residents, past planning leads and the organizations in and around these neighborhoods is invaluable. Below is the timeline for selecting a qualified consultant:

Pre Submittal Meeting: Wednesday, January 24, 2024 3-4PM cst at 1520 Market Street

Deadline for Questions: Wednesday, January 31, 2024 5pm cst

Answers to Questions: Tuesday, February 6, 2024 5PM cst

RFP Submission Deadline: Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 5pm cst

Consultant Firm Interviews: Friday, Feb 29, 2024 12:00 PM- 2:00 PM cst at 1520 Market Street

Consultant Selection: No later than Tuesday, Mar 12, 2024 at 5PM cst

Our team will be selecting 2-3 Project Connect NPC members to be on the selection review committee and will be issuing a survey to take a vote aside from engaging with NPC members 1:1 to select qualified individuals to participate in the interview screening process.
