Prop NS Nominations

Nominations Overview

Nominations are received from the general public (city residents, business owners, and community stakeholders) and vetted by the Prop NS staff. If a nomination is found to be a potential candidate for funding, the Stabilization Advisory Committee ("SAC") will make a recommendation to the Board of the Land Reutilization Authority ("LRA"). LRA then determines whether or not to approve funding for each property.

Sale of Completed Properties

Properties listed as "stabilization complete" have completed stabilization and will be made available for offers to purchase during 21 day bid windows. At the end of each 21 day window, the LRA Board will review all offers to ensure that purchasers have the necessary resources and capacity to bring buildings up to occupancy code. If offers are received on a property, that property will be withheld from subsequent bid periods to give the LRA Board an opportunity to review and accept or reject the offers. If the LRA Board rejects an offer, or accepts an offer but the offeror fails to close, the property will again be made available during subsequent bid windows.

If a nomination was not eligible for the program, rejected by the LRA Board, or subsequently removed from the program, an explanation will be provided in the Comment section.
