Pre-Bidding:
A pre-proposal meeting will be held at the South Transfer Station at 9:00 am CST December 13, 2022. The South Transfer Station is located at 4100 S. 1st Street, St. Louis, MO 63118.

The pre-proposal meeting will be followed by site tours on December 13, 2022 to observe the Solid
Wastes, Recyclables and Yard Waste delivered by City Vehicles and City Residents. The tours will begin after the pre-proposal meeting.

The City will not accept questions regarding the RFP prior to the pre-proposal meeting or site tours.
The exception is to ask questions regarding the logistics about the pre-proposal meeting or site tours.

These questions shall be submitted in writing to Mary Dusold at dusoldm@stlouis-mo.gov by December 8, 2022.

Summary
The City of St. Louis (City) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to contract with qualified companies or teams of qualified companies to manage Solid Wastes, Recyclables and Yard Waste (Target Waste Streams) that are generated by City residents and City Departments (Project).

Proposers may ask questions at the pre-proposal meeting and site tours. Questions that cannot be answered at the pre-proposal meeting or site tours will be answered via e-mail by December 16, 2022.

The City will respond to questions in writing to all attendees of the pre-proposal meeting and tours by December 16, 2022. A summary of the questions and answers submitted shall be provided to proposers via posting on this page. Proposers shall have the affirmative responsibility to check the website daily in order to learn of and access the questions and answers as posted.

All questions must be submitted in writing to Mary Dusold at dusoldm@stlouis-mo.gov by December 22, 2022. No other members of the Streets Department or selection committee can be contacted with questions related to the RFP.

No other City Selection Committee Member, official, employee or Representative is to be contacted by any Proposer with respect to this RFP. Doing so may result in rejection of their Proposal.
