Effective February 29, 2016, Soldiers Memorial Military Museum has closed for renovations. The Soldiers Memorial Military Museum in downtown St. Louis, at 1315 Chestnut Street is operated by the Missouri Historical Society.

Soldiers Memorial Military Museum
St. Louis Soldiers' Memorial Military Museum - Located between Market and Pine and 13th and 14th Streets, was completed in 1938 in honor of World War I veterans. The museum is currently undergoing a major renovation and will reopen in 2018 as a state-of-the-art museum facility honoring military service, veterans, and their families.
