The project consists of the renovation of a single-family home in the Dutchtown neighborhood. The prospective redeveloper acquired the property from LRA and plans on renovating the home consisting of 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms at the cost of $350,000. The redeveloper plans to utilize private funds for this project and State Historic Credits. The house will be owner occupied. Based on the Recommended Abatement Map approved October 26, 2018 by Board of Aldermen Resolution 104, the staff recommends a 10-year tax abatement based on 95 percent of the assessed value of the incremental improvements.
