This Board Bill, recommended by the Board of Estimate and Apportionment, appropriates to the Department of Health $276,462.64 in funds received by the City of St. Louis pursuant to the national opioid settlement agreement entered into between and among the Settling States, Participating Subdivisions, and Janssen, dated July 21, 2021 (the “Janssen Settlement Agreement”); appropriates to the Department of Health $279,141.34 in funds received by the City of St. Louis pursuant to the national opioid settlement agreement entered into between and among the Settling States, Participating Subdivisions, and the Settling Distributors, dated July 21, 2021 (the “Distributor Settlement Agreement”); authorizes the expenditure of such funds, to the extent received; and contains an emergency clause.
