Summary
The Board of Election Commissioners (the “Election Board '') is seeking an intern to assist in coordinating and managing communications activities for the Election Board. The role is important in building public confidence in the election process and informing and educating the public through accurate, timely and relevant communications. This position ensures that there is a comprehensive approach to communications across multiple channels, including digital and social media, print, broadcast media, presentations, and events. The position is responsible for day-to-day communications activities, as well as helping develop communications plans, strategies, and initiatives. Work is performed under the direction of a Deputy Director and in collaboration with the Election Boards’ management team. This is a temporary position for which no benefits are provided.
