Inactive Voter List

Lists voters whose registration status is inactive because the registration address could not be verified.

When you  change residences within the City of St. Louis you are asked to notify the Board of Election and update your registration records to your current address.

If you have not received notice of election cards or other mailings from the Board of Election within five (5) days before an election you may have been designated as inactive.  You may have been removed from the voter rolls if you did not appear to vote in two consecutive federal general elections.

The Inactive Voters List is comprised of registered voters for whom the Board of Election Commissioners may have an inaccurate address because the Postal Service returned one of our mailings as "undeliverable." You should take a moment to check this on-line directory to determine whether your name is on the Inactive Voters List.

If your name is on the Inactive Voters List and you still live in the City of St. Louis you can vote.

When you do go to vote you will be required to complete additional administrative steps prior to casting a ballot. This will take extra time.
