Check for Your Name on the Inactive Voter List

The inactive voter list comprises voters whose registration status is inactive because the registration address could not be verified.

Overview

The Inactive Voters List is composed of registered voters for whom the Board of Election Commissioners may have an inaccurate address because the Postal Service returned one of our mailings as "undeliverable."

When you change residences within the City of St. Louis you are asked to notify the Board of Election and update your registration records to your current address. You can submit an address change or name change using these instructions.

If you have not received notice of election cards or other mailings from the Board of Election within five (5) days before an election, you may have been designated as inactive. You may have been removed from the voter rolls if you did not appear to vote in two consecutive federal general elections.

Preparation

You can check the inactive voter list for yourself or for someone else. If checking for someone else, for best results you will need their first and last name, spelled correctly.

Instructions

Use the form below to check for your name on the inactive voter list.

The full inactive voters list is also available for download.
