Mayor Krewson Appoints Jamie Wilson Director of Department of Streets

Mayor replaces former Director of Department of Streets Steve Runde with Jamie Wilson.

Wilson, a licensed professional engineer, previously served as a traffic engineer and bicycle and pedestrian coordinator for the Department of Streets.

He has initiated efforts in bikeway design, traffic calming, Smart City planning and the Pedestrian Safety Action Plan.

Before working in City government, Wilson served as president and chief executive officer of Crawford, Bunte, and Brammeier (CBB) Transportation, an employee-owned engineering and planning consulting firm.

During his tenure at CBB, Wilson led several projects for the City, including traffic signal communications designs for several of the City's major arteries.

Wilson will be sworn in on September 5.
