Bryan Barroqueiro
Deputy Chief Operations Officer
Bryan Barroqueiro serves as the deputy chief operating officer for the City of St. Louis.
Prior to joining the City, Colonel Barroqueiro served more than 25 years in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot and foreign area officer (FAO). His military career included seven deployments supporting operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he served in various leadership roles, including C-130 and C-21 pilot, liaison officer to the 101st Airborne Division, and commander of an Air Advisor Squadron embedded with Iraqi Army Aviation Headquarters.
As a foreign area officer, Colonel Barroqueiro served as chief of security cooperation at the U.S. Embassy in Algiers, Algeria, and as defense attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Bamako, Mali. In his final military assignment, he served as deputy chief of staff at Air Mobility Command at Scott Air Force Base, leading strategic planning and execution for a global headquarters of 1,300 personnel supporting more than 104,000 airmen and a fleet of approximately 1,100 aircraft.
Bryan earned a bachelor of arts in history from Rutgers University and a master of arts in international relations from Norwich University.
