Her work is grounded in legislative research, careful data analysis, and a commitment to developing policies that are clear and effective for residents. As a core member of Mayor Spencer's legislative team, Smith works tirelessly to fulfill the administration's vision for the city—delivering exceptional city services, improving economic opportunities in every neighborhood, and supporting critical tornado recovery efforts.

Prior to her current role, Smith was the legislative assistant to 9th Ward Alderman Michael Browning. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Saint Louis University with a degree in political science, environmental science, theatre, and dance. Smith loves living and working in the City of St. Louis. She loves reading books, crafting, and cuddling with her adorable dog.
