Tiger Abdur-Rahman
Recovery Office Civic Designer
Tiger Abdur-Rahman is a facilitator, data enthusiast, and civic designer with nearly two decades of experience supporting community-centered work across public, nonprofit, and education sectors. Currently serving on the St. Louis City Innovation Team, Tiger co-leads human-centered resident recovery initiatives following the May 16, 2025, tornado.
Tiger brings collaborative, mixed-methods research and facilitation skills to program design, product management, and organizational learning. His approach centers on the belief that public programs work best when directly informed by the lived experiences and perspectives of residents. He works to create conditions where diverse stakeholders can analyze challenges together, prototype solutions, and build responsive frameworks that serve local communities.
Tiger regularly designs and facilitates workshops focused on program evaluation, community-based action research, and collaborative planning. His work emphasizes bringing people together to streamline service delivery, strengthen organizational capacity, and support community resilience through participatory processes.
Tiger holds a master's in organizational leadership and learning from George Washington University and bachelor's in Asian and Middle Eastern studies from Dartmouth College.
