Parks Division
The Parks Division of the Parks Department operates and maintains the 108 parks in the City of St. Louis
About Our City Parks
Our parks are a great asset. They provide vital green space, opportunity to be active, contribute to the local economy, and provide critical wildlife habitat.
A Brief History
The first land was set aside to be used for parks in 1812 and the first parks created were Gravois Park, Laclede Park, and Mt. Pleasant Park.
