SLATE's Frank Alaniz (l), Missouri Workforce Liaison, and Martin Payne, Missouri Veterans Representative, have been awarded the national 2013 Outstanding Service to Veterans Award from the U.S. Department of Labor for their support of national defense, National Guard and Reserve.  Alaniz also recently receive an Above and Beyond Award from the Dept. of Defense Employer Support of the Guard (ESGR) Missouri Committee for his outstanding work through the Show-Me Heroes statewide initiative
