Alderman Kenneth A. Ortmann, 9th Ward, and Alderwoman Jennifer Florida, 15th Ward (r), present Public Safety Director Charlene Deeken with a resolution recognizing her many years of service to the City and her accomplishment as the first woman to hold the position of Director of Public Safety for the City of St. Louis. Ms. Deeken was appointed to the position by Mayor Francis G. Slay in January 2013.
