St. Louis Mayor Francis G. Slay rings in the New Year at First Night in Grand Center on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013.  The event was also the kick-off celebration for a year of commemorating of the 250th anniversary of the founding of St. Louis in 1764.  For a calendar of events, visit the stl250.org website.
