City of St. Louis uses Cityworks software to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

In 2009, the Citizens' Service Bureau switched to a GIS based service request system. That system is now in use by all city operating departments to track and respond to citizen requests. Departments are also beginning to use it to track their own internal work orders, equipment usage and labor.
