Notice Regarding City Water Issue

A statement from the Water Division regarding City water issue over the weekend of September 18, 2022

Over the weekend we had a water main break at one of our two water treatment plants requiring us to shut down the treatment plant. This emergency shutdown lasted several hours disrupting our treatment process. A short term taste to our finished water was generated upon startup of the treatment process. The water is safe to use and meets all State and Federal drinking water standards. We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
