Summary
The Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Louis (“LCRA” or “Authority”) is seeking bids for Selective Demolition Services at 3451 Bingham Avenue and 4352 Louisiana, which are ancillary buildings connected to the former Cleveland High School. LCRA is seeking services from a qualified firm St. Louis city certified eligible demolition contractor to perform comprehensive environmental remediation, hazardous materials abatement, and demolition work on four sections of the building. Utilities are not operational or available onsite.

LCRA acquired the historic Cleveland High School with the intention of preserving the original school building and stabilizing it for future redevelopment. These ancillary buildings do not contribute to the historic value of the building and cannot easily be incorporated into a future use without expending unreasonable and infeasible funds. The redevelopment is expected to be residential with an affordable housing component.

The services to be provided through this RFB will be funded by The Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund allocated to the City of St. Louis by the United States Department of the Treasury and passed through the City’s Community Development Administration to SLDC. All Supplementary Conditions provided as an Exhibit to this RFB shall be incorporated into any contract or sub-contact awarded pursuant to this RFB. To the extent any terms in this RFB conflict with the Supplementary Conditions in the Exhibit, the Supplementary Conditions shall control.

Sealed proposals are due: June 9, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. CDT.
