The City of St. Louis Recovery Office, in partnership with the Community Development Administration, is asking landlords to share information about their vacant rental units to support residents impacted by the May 16 tornado.
Overview
The City of St. Louis Recovery Office, in partnership with the Community Development Administration (CDA), is asking landlords to share information about their vacant rental units to support residents impacted by the May 16 tornado.
The information collected will be used to build a citywide housing inventory and help connect landlords with residents in need of housing.
What You’ll Be Asked in the Survey
Landlords will be asked to provide details on each available unit, including:
- Property address
- Number of available units
- Monthly rental rate
- Number of bedrooms
- ADA accessibility
- Pet policy (acceptance, deposit, restrictions)
- Housing Choice Voucher acceptance
- Participation in rental assistance programs (for veterans, seniors, people with disabilities, low-income households, and people experiencing homelessness)
- Screening criteria (credit history, evictions, student visas, justice-involved applicants, etc.)
- Option to add multiple properties
Why Participate
By listing your available rental units, you will:
- Help tornado-impacted residents find safe, stable housing.
