Information on how to clean up, remove, and organize debris from the May 16, 2025 tornado response and recovery efforts

You may request debris removal via Citizens' Service Bureau.

Debris Cleanup Safety

Please be safe when cleaning up debris! Make sure to wear gloves, eye protection, face mask, closed-toe shoes, long pants and long sleeved shirts.

Participate in the Clean Up Our Community Program

The program assist with the request of dumpsters, handwashing stations, and porta-potties for community cleanup event or project in the tornado impact area.

Availbility Info:

  • Debris dropoff is available 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, closed on City holidays.
  • Bring an ID or piece of mail to verify that you live in the City limits.
  • No Private Contractors or businesses at this time (even if they have volunteered their services).
  • Paint and other hazardous chemicals will not be accepted.
  • Dirt will have to be taken to a compost.
