STL Recovers Outreach Center

The Outreach Center offers in-person support to connect residents with available programs and set up rights-of-entry, site assessments and inspections needed for demolition, debris removal, home stabilization or home repair.

STLRecovers, a City of St. Louis initiative, was created to help St. Louis residents recover following the May 16, 2025, tornado, which caused widespread damage across the city. The initiative focuses on addressing critical needs for residents whose homes were damaged or destroyed, with the goal of restoring safe and stable housing as quickly as possible. The initiative includes several Private Property Assistance programs that provide assistance for structure stabilization, home repair, demolition of unsafe structures, and debris removal.

Through a centralized intake process, STLRecovers connects eligible property owners to disaster recovery programs based on their situation. The programs include:
