Summary

This Board Bill authorizes and directs the Director of Airports, President of the Board of Public Service, and the Comptroller of The City of St. Louis to enter into and execute on behalf of the City the “Memorandum of Agreement (“MOA”) between Southwest Airlines Co. (“Southwest”) and the City of St. Louis, Missouri.” Under the terms of this MOA, the City will finance, contract for, administer, and manage the expansion and renovation of the Terminal 2 Inbound and Outbound Baggage Handling System and Facilities (the “Project”), and Southwest will reimburse the City for the full cost of the Project, as well as the cost associated with financing the Project, via an additional monthly assessment. This Board Bill contains a severability clause, and an emergency clause.
