Biography

Anne Schweitzer was born and raised in South St. Louis City. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Brandeis University in Politics and Environmental Studies. Anne's first job out of college was as a community organizer around tenants' rights. Since then, she's worked in public relations, political campaigns, and for non-profits. Anne is passionate about the environment, pedestrian safety, small businesses, public health, quality affordable housing and neighborhood stability, keeping our parks and streets clean, and addressing the root causes of crime. In her spare time, she volunteers with animal rescue groups, environmental and social causes, gardens, and teaches yoga.
