Parks Division Data

The percentage of Parks service requests completed on time, cumulatively and by problem type.

Highlights

The Parks Division operates and maintains the 109 public parks in the City of St. Louis. The Parks Division receives citizen requests related to the maintenance of park facilities and assets.

Parks is also making upgrades to its services including:

  • Moving to an online payment system (PayIt)
  • Upgrading the Park Reservation system (coming in 2026)

On-Time Percentage

These requests cover an array of categories, with projected completion times between 5 and 30 days based on the category of the request. The aggregated chart shows performance against a quarterly goal of completing 80% of requests on time.

While the results are short of the goal, the trend is moving in the right direction. Additionally, analysis below shows a wide range of results impacted by the type of work that needs to be done.

On-Time Percentage by Problem Code

This disaggregation of requests by type and by year provides additional context.

These results are influenced by priority of the request, usually related to safety, and potentially the length of time that other requests may take (ex. construction).
