HOURLY RATE OF PAY $13.45 Positions are paid on an hourly basis, are not eligible for the Employee Benefits Program and do not require City residency.

Nature of Work

Incumbents in this position are responsible for organizing and conducting recreation and athletic activities at an assigned community center for the 5 Star After School Program running Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Additional weekend hours may be needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful completion of thirty semester hours of college credit in Recreation, Physical Education, or a Social Science; plus one year of experience administering recreation programs. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

A transcript of qualifying educational achievement must be submitted with the Employment Application.

Your experience and training will be used to determine whether you meet the entrance requirements for this position and to compute your experience and training evaluation. MEDICAL: Candidates will be required to pass a "Drug Screen" as part of their medical examination.
