Nature of Work

Incumbents in this position are responsible for performing lead worker duties for unskilled and semi-skilled manual tasks in the Building Division's Board-Up Program.  Examples of duties include:  organizing work assignments, monitoring board-up operations, assisting in the measuring, cutting, painting and nailing of lumber and serving as the primary driver of a crew vehicle.

Minimum Qualifications

One year of experience as a Utility Worker or equivalent preserving properties as a member of a board-up crew.     

Certification: Must possess and maintain a RRP Certification by the EPA while employed by the City of St. Louis.

License:  Incumbents must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver's license while employed by the City of St. Louis.  Please note type of license, number, class and expiration date on the Employment Application.
