- Maximum: $72,982.00
Applicants who meet the minimum experience and training requirements will start at $43,810 annually. Applicants who meet the Minimum Qualifications and have successfully completed a bona fide apprenticeship program registered with the Department of Labor and obtained journeyman status will start at $57,278 annually. Proof of completion of apprenticeship program and journeyman status must be submitted at the time of filing application.
Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position supervise a wide variety of construction equipment and labor crews used in the construction, maintenance and repair of City streets, parks and utilities through subordinate supervisory personnel.

Five years of experience in the operation and maintenance of heavy construction equipment such as millers, pavers, rollers, crawler loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, cable cranes, emulsion and fuel tank trucks, boom trucks, floats, other various fleet vehicles and related construction equipment.
License: Incumbents must possess a valid Missouri Commercial Driver’s License Class B at the time of filing application. Incumbents must obtain a valid Missouri Commercial Driver’s License Class A with X (Hazmat and Tanker) endorsement by completion of the working test period and maintain it thereafter as a condition of employment. Please note type of CDL license, number, class, expiration date, and State where issued on the Employment Application.

Your experience and training described on the Employment Application will be used to determine whether you meet the minimum qualifications for this position and to compute your Experience and Training evaluation.
