Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position are responsible for the supervision of prisoner processing activities and staff. Duties include maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees and detainees. Work involves shift, weekend, holiday and mandatory overtime assignments. A shift differential is paid for evening and night work.

Three years of full-time paid experience working in law enforcement or in a jail and/or correctional facility. OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Supervisory experience in a jail and/or correctional facility.
