Nature of Work
Incumbent in this position is responsible for supervising electricians’ work activities in the repair, construction and maintenance of electrical systems at St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Incumbent is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance for the electrical power distribution systems for terminal buildings and associated support and maintenance facilities; all concourses; airfield and associated signage; facilities and grounds, roadways, parking lots, garages; IT central and field cables, Wi-Fi and fiber-optic networks and internal telephone wiring from end user to D-Mark.

Five years of experience performing electrical construction and maintenance work at the journeyman level, of which two years are in a supervisory capacity. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
License: Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver's license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of filing application. Please note type of license, number, class and expiration date on the Employment Application.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of airfield design and the FAR 139 FAA requirements for airfield lighting, controls, lighting placement and overall operations.

Employees assigned to St. Louis Lambert International Airport may be eligible for commuting allowance of $141.00 bi-weekly. A ten year character investigation will be conducted in accordance with FAA regulations for positions with the Airport Authority.
