Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position perform auto/truck body repair and painting. Duties include: assessing vehicle body damage, loading vehicle onto auto body frame machine and performing exterior and interior body work including repair/replacement of damaged items.

Successful completion of a recognized trade school or junior college program in automotive technology; plus at least one year of experience in automotive body repair. OR, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
License: Incumbents must posses and maintain a valid Missouri driver’s license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of filing application and be able to present it upon request. Documentation of academic credentials (if applicable) must be submitted upon request.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: ASE and/or ICAR Certification.
