Salary

  • Minimum: $47,814.00
  • Maximum: $74,906.00

Nature of Work

Incumbents in this position are responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing and upgrading telecommunications and radio systems and all associated computer and electronic equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field; plus one year of experience installing, maintaining and repairing electronics which includes radio frequency trunking. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

License:  Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver’s license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Must possess a valid driver’s license at the time of filing application and be able to present it upon request. Documentation of academic credentials must be submitted upon request.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:  Previous experience installing, maintaining and repairing electronics in a communications center. Federal Communications General Radio/Telephone operator license, Personal Communication License, Industry Association Certification, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Certification, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator Certification or Cisco Certified Network Associate Certification.
