  • Minimum: $47,814.00
  • Maximum: $74,906.00

Nature of Work

Incumbents in this position are responsible for reviewing properties for property tax exemptions, abatements and redevelopment status, verifying related information, providing recommendations on exemption requests to the Assessor, and maintaining related records. Applicants who are State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser OR have IAAO Certified Assessment Evalulator (CAE) will be paid at the minimum of $53,066 annually. Proof of certification must be submitted upon request.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of experience appraising residential, commercial and industrial property for the purpose of real property assessment. OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
