Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position perform legal work in the City Counselor’s Office as strategists and litigation counsel addressing public health concerns, predatory business practices, and civil rights matters that affect the people of the City of St. Louis as well as direct harms to and the constitutionality of laws impacting the City of St. Louis itself.

Graduation from a school of law approved by the Committee on Legal Education of the American Bar Association; current membership in the Missouri Bar in good standing or licensure in another state with eligibility for reciprocity in Missouri; plus two years of legal practice in the area of civil litigation.

A limited number of applicants may be scheduled for the Oral Interview based on an evaluation of their qualifying education, training and experience as listed on the Employment Application. Incomplete and/or carelessly completed applications will not be considered.
