Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position perform, plan and supervise the maintenance and repair of airport runways, roads, ramps, taxiways and grounds through subordinate airfield maintenance personnel. Work involves shift, weekend and holiday assignments; therefore, candidates must be available for overtime, mandatory 24-hour snow call and shift work. Candidates must provide their availability for shift and weekend assignments on the Availability Section of the Employment Application.

Four years of experience in the maintenance and repair of airfield runways, taxiways, ramps and grounds.
License: Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) with Passenger Bus and Tank Vehicle endorsements at the time of filing application. Please note type of license, number, class and expiration on the Employment Application. Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) with Passenger Bus and Tank Vehicle endorsements while employed by the City of St. Louis.

Employees assigned to St. Louis Lambert International Airport may be eligible for a commuting allowance of $141.00 bi-weekly.
