Mapping African-American History

In recognition of Black History Month, the Cultural Resources Office and Planning and Urban Design Agency Research Division have identified and mapped a series of sites with cultural and historic significance to the African-American community. This map of historic sites has been provided as a public resource. This map also includes overlays for the City's historic districts for additional context. 

 

Please note that this research is preliminary and PDA and CRO will continue to update this resource.
