Elysia Russell

Passionate about making a difference and driving positive change, Elysia Russell is committed to creating a greener and more sustainable future. She studied biology and philosophy at Rockhurst University before going on to earn a masters degree in Environmental Science Management from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.  

Elysia has worked for the City of St. Louis for nearly a decade, beginning with Brightside St. Louis, she continues to push the ‘green’ needle forward and is recognized for her strategic thinking, problem-solving prowess and positive attitude.  

With a vision of a sustainable world that thrives on renewable resources, social equity and environmental consciousness, Elysia is dedicated to creating a lasting, positive impact on St. Louis city as we work together to make our city an even better, more sustainable, place to live and enjoy for generations to come.
